Firstly, we would like to apologise to all members who were continually holding only to be met told all spaces had been taken. We have received so many enquiries and notes of interest for these classes since the bookings day that we are now in the process of adding additional classes and times.
We appreciate that certain circumstances cause frustration however, we respectively ask you do not take this frustration out on our Reception team. Thank you.
It’s going to be National Fitness Day on 23rd September and we would like to do something fun to mark the event! So, we are looking at some suggestions into what activities we could host to get families working out together.
We are considering a badminton tournament alongside a table tennis event. However, you may have some suggestions! We would love to hear them – please contact Nicky Caldwell email@example.com.

Why Shower before Swimming? A thorough shower before entering the pool helps remove perspiration, body oils, cosmetics and other substances which react with chlorine. So please, respect your fellow members and shower off. It is also essential that you shower after using the steam room or sauna before reentering the pool. Thank you for your cooperation.

Aqua for Aches & Pains
Introducing new Aqua instructor Wendy Gray
Exercising in a pool provides relief from pain and stiffness in the joints as water provides active resistance, making exercise more effective. It is a great class if you are recovering from surgery or got arthritis. You will be working at your own ability but quickly will see the progression as the week’s progress.“This Aqua session is a fun class sprinkled with movement science“
The class takes place each week on Thursdays at 13.50 (1.50pm). Book online or by calling 01224 734747.
Kerry Hamilton is Kippie’s youth yoga instructor and she is on the lookout for new attendees.
This lovely gentle class offers a balance of breath work, postures and relaxation aimed at all young people between 12-16.
This age group can benefit from improving their confidence, self image and reduced stress levels whilst taking away coping mechanisms for when they are off the mat too.
Physically of course yoga builds strength, flexibility, increased coordination, balance and posture, and of course mentally can help to re-focus and be more present.
Why not come along to this kind, friendly class, tune into the tunes, and feel uplifted!
Monday’s at 5.15pm – book online or by calling 01224 734747. Guests along with members are welcome.
Kippie’s Junior Golf section entered 2 teams with 17 juniors participating in the recent Scottish Golf 6’s matches between Kippie, Craibstone & Westhill Golf Clubs. Kippie’s teams finished 4th & 5th final respectively.
It’s great to see so many junior golfers taking part in tournaments but we are still on the lookout for a junior golf coordinator to help with future events. If this is something you would like to get involved in then please email Sports and Wellbeing Manager Lorna Cruickshank -firstname.lastname@example.org
Please remember to wear a face-covering when moving around the Club and check-in using our VCI. This is compulsory in each area. Thank you.
Have you completed your PARQ form? If not, simply head to Kippie.Life and follow the link on the main homepage. If you suffer from any illness, disease, or medical condition that may affect your fitness it is vitally important the Club is made aware in an event of an emergency.
