Learn to Swim Update
We are delighted that our Learn To Swim lessons are now back to the capacity that they were pre-covid which has been a great relief to Julie Welsh and her team. Due to demand, an additional beginners class is now taking place every Saturday morning. We do have limited spaces available in certain beginners class so please get in touch with our Reception team for further information. If your child can swim a length of the pool and can manage every stroke, then you may wish to consider enrolling them into our improvers lessons of which we have availability. Good news, private lessons are returning next week. Please contact Julie Welsh via Reception on 01224 734747.
We would like to thank you for your patience during what has been unprecedented times.
Unfortunately, we have to bring up the subject of no-shows and cancellations once again. We get it, things come up, you don’t feel well, and your kids are sick; life happens but please cancel your reservation IMMEDIATELY by using our booking system. If you need assistance in understanding HOW to cancel a class, please let us help and show you. We are here to help and want you to feel as comfortable with the booking system and the cancellation process.
Have you completed your PARQ form?
A PARQ form highlights potential red flags that may affect what type of exercise is suitable. It asks questions about medical conditions (and associated symptoms) that could be made worse by physical activity.
- Highlights health concerns that you may wish to discuss with your doctor.
- Reduces the risk of illness and injury related to exercise.
- All information is held in the strictest confidence.
The form is quick and easy to complete – simply log in to kippie.life and you will be able to follow the link on the main page. Thank you.
Kids at Kippie
We are looking at trying something different for our Kippie kids to take part in. As mentioned above we would love to start a new squash group with kids aged between 9-13 years.
And there is more! Would your tween be interested in joining an Art Class here at Kippie? We are going to be holding a class once a month for ages 9-13 years. Wait for it – there is even more! Team members Mitchell and Daniel are going to be starting a new class where kids take part in different activities each week such as a Bootcamp, table tennis or badminton. After the sessions, the kids can discuss their gameplay over a burger or hot dog at the Lodge.
These new proposed classes will only take place if there is enough interest so please get in touch if you feel your child would enjoy them. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do you know we hold a youth yoga class every Monday at 5.15pm. The class is available to all children over the age of 11+ years. Book online or call us on 01224 734747.
It’s great to see our social groups returning to Kippie.
Our Beginners Art sessions start next Sunday 5th September at 10am. This will be a regular slot for 6 weeks. If you would like to get involved please contact Nicky Caldwell at email@example.com.
