Your Weekly Roundup

It’s been such a busy week here at Kippie with summer camps, coaching, youth classes all starting up. We have received excellent feedback so far with all the kids going home suitably exhausted after a busy day.

In this week’s round-up newsletter we have info on the week 2 of kids summer camp, updates regarding the sports complex, lodge and kids classes as well as some upcoming events.

Lets get right into it.

Updates

We are currently working on our brand new website and require your help! We require photographs of the fitness studio whilst a class is on. So, Michelle has kindly offered to run a mock class next Wednesday 7th July at 12.30 pm in studio 1. So, we are looking for participants to take part in the class and get photographed. Interested? Contact Nicky Caldwell at 01224 734747 or email nickycaldwell@kippielodge.co.uk

Sports Complex

Golf Information

Members are enquiring whether flags and rakes can be back in use on the Golf Course.   Scottish Golf made an announcement on 24th June confirming no changes will be made until we are in level 0 – which we anticipate will be 19th July. We hopefully will then be able to update our procedures then.

We understand your frustration and thank you for your patience.

Date For Your Diary

Do you know we run a social tennis session every Tuesday evening from 7 pm – 9 pm? Member Sharon Houston who runs these sessions is encouraging you all to come along and give it a go! If you would like to give it a go then leave your name with Reception and Sharon will get in touch!

A fun session sprinkled with movement science. Exercising in a pool provides relief with pain and stiffness in the joints.

It is a great class if you are recovering from surgery or got arthritis.

You will be working at your own ability but quickly will see progression as the weeks progress.

The class takes place each week on Thursdays at 13.50 (1.50pm).

LutFIYA Saitbayeva

Latfiya has been covering fitness classes throughout Aberdeen since 2015 and we are delighted that she is taking four classes here at Kippie.

"I am super excited to be joining the Kippie team. My love for fitness has made me expand my training skills to include the latest techniques including Pilates and Power Pilates with which I am certified to work with. My workouts are all about precise and controlled movements while maintaining proper alignment. If you have never attended a strength or kettlebell class please do not feel you cant take part."

"Despite on the skill or difficulty level of any class I teach it will be suitable for every level as there are modifications always available,  just like every instructor I work with the client’s needs, to encourage them and always include.I provide options whether you are a pure beginner or advanced."

If you would like to discuss any of Latfiya’s classes before taking part please do not hesitate to contact her via Reception.
