APCGA – Ladies

The APCGA Ladies section are holding a Charity Texas Scramble at Kippie this Sunday in aid of Grampian Women’s Aid, and would really appreciate your support.

A big thanks to everyone who has booked for the event here’s hoping the weather is good for you!

Events

Now that the summer is over we are planning a host of events for you and the family to enjoy this autumn

Kippie’s infamous Halloween party returns on the 31st of October. 80 tickets have been taken so far so please, if you are considering coming along please call today to reserve your tickets by calling 01224 734747.

Kippie’s social groups have restarted. The singing group took place on Thursday and our book group next Thursday at 7.30 pm in the Greenhouse. Pop along – all welcome.

The adults’ quiz night has already started filling up so select your team and give us a call to book your place! 01224 734747

Don’t forget – if you introduce a friend or family member to the Club you get £25 of loyalty points on your membership card to spend at the Club.


Sports Complex

A polite reminder: please make sure that you arrive at your fitness class 5 minutes before the class begins to allow for set up. Extra time is required to set up equipment in Body Pump and Body Step. Thank you.

Mini Squash Leagues starting soon!

After the great reception from the recent squash evenings
we are starting up mini-leagues for all levels.

Beginner or regulars we invite you all to get involved in the leagues. The more the merrier!

For more information ask for CHARLIE or leave reception your name and number and he will get in contact with you!

Kids

A big thanks to Mitchell at the Club for hosting our first Youth Club on Thursday evening. The kids loved taking part in badminton and a Bootcamp session followed by a burger at the Lodge. Next week’s theme is table tennis. This club is open to all kids between 9-12 years. Booking is essential. You can do this online or by calling reception.

We are delighted to announce that we are starting a kids art class beginning Sunday 12th September at 11.30 am The class is free of charge and open to ages 8 years and over. Our teacher Darcy is an art student at RGU and is so excited to get started. If your child would like to attend please call us on 01224 734747 and ask for Events.

Our French Bistro has only a few tables remaining on the 18th September so don’t delay in booking. This weekend our Asian Bistro takes place – Marquee bookings only remain.

Started his journey in 2017 as a lifeguard. Over the years Scott progressed in to different disciplines including Les mills; RPM, Pump, Combat & Attack as well as Bootcamp and youth gym.

Mitchell Robb

ABS and Youth Activities

Mitch is 19 years old and recently passed his level 2 in sports coaching at college. Big Congrats to Him!
He is also currently studying for his Level 6 in Sports, Exercise and Science

Join him for Abs classes on a Monday night from 6pm to 6:30pm.
If your kids are budding Badminton players they can join Mitch between 2pm - 3pm in Studio 1.

WENDY GRAY

Aches & Pains Aqua

A fun session sprinkled with movement science. Exercising in a pool provides relief with pain and stiffness in the joints.

It is a great class if you are recovering from surgery or got arthritis.

You will be working at your own ability but quickly will see progression as the weeks progress.

The class takes place each week on Thursdays at 13.50 (1.50pm).

Go on, head to the pool and give it a try!

Latfiya has been covering fitness classes throughout Aberdeen since 2015 and we are delighted that she is taking four classes here at Kippie.

"I am super excited to be joining the Kippie team. My love for fitness has made me expand my training skills to include the latest techniques including Pilates and Power Pilates with which I am certified to work with. My workouts are all about precise and controlled movements while maintaining proper alignment. If you have never attended a strength or kettlebell class please do not feel you cant take part."

"Despite on the skill or difficulty level of any class I teach it will be suitable for every level as there are modifications always available,  just like every instructor I work with the client’s needs, to encourage them and always include.I provide options whether you are a pure beginner or advanced."
