It’s great to see classes resume at Kippie albeit outdoors.  Currently, RPM, Body Pump, Bootcamp and CX Worx are running on-site.

It’s great to see over 800 members on our new Kippie.Life members site. 
Don’t forget, you can start your own group and invite other members to join it who share the same interests such as bridge, running or swimming. 

We have recently created a squash group so if that’s your interest join in!

Hair and Beauty

Kippie’s Hair Salon has been open for a week now and we would like to thank our clients for adhering to safety procedures.

Hair Salon – COVID safety procedures.

The Beauty Salon is scheduled to reopen on Monday 26th April.  If you had an appointment cancelled due to lockdown then Cath will be in touch to reschedule.  Bookings will reopen on Monday at 9.30 am by calling 01224 739905.

Junior Golf

Golf Professional Keil would like to put a junior golfing team forward to play in Scottish Golf Sixes (click here for more information)

We are also on the lookout for parents to help with our junior golf section and in particular this tournament. If you would be keen on helping or your child is a keen golfer and looking to work towards a handicap then please email: and we will be in touch. 

Lodge News

We are getting ready to reopen our doors on the 26th April.  Table bookings for either our marquee, bar or conservatory are now being taken by calling 01224 739901.  Please remember that alcohol can only be served outdoors up until May 17th.

Our chefs have been busy designing a brand new all-day menu to return.  Keep an eye on social media and next week as will be posting a copy for you.

In the meantime, we are offering a lunch takeaway service every day from 12 noon and an evening takeaway menu every Friday and Saturday.  Click the link below to view our menus.  If you would like to order then simply call 01224 739901. 

Kids Coaching

Spaces remain on our kids coaching which will start from the 29th April.  Hip Hop, Rugby Tots, Karate, Golf Coaching and Gymnastics.

Swimming lessons will return the week commencing Monday 17th May.  If your child was participating in lessons prior to lock down we will be in contact with you next week to see if you still require the space.  If you are unsure if your child is on the waiting list or would like to add your child’s name to the list then please email
Available spaces will be offered to those on the waiting list from Monday 26th April.

Virtual Check-In

Now that we are getting closer to us reopening indoors can we remind members that it is imperative that on every visit that you scan the QR code located in each area of the club.  If you have not yet registered with our Virtual Checkin then please do so prior to your visit.  Please watch the short video above to remind yourself on how the system works.  

Be Kind to the Course

  • Keep trolleys and bags away from greens. 

The wheels on trolleys and the weight of golf bags can damage these sensitive areas.

  • Repair your divots. 
  • Repair your ball marks on the green. 
  • Always rake bunkers after hitting to erase your footprints.

Players who are found to breach these rules will be reported to the committee and action may be taken.

Online Bookings


Due to member’s feedback, we are changing tennis court bookings on our online booking system so you will clearly be able to see which courts are indoor and outdoor.  These changes will come into effect on Wednesday 21st April.  In order for these changes to take place tennis court bookings will be disabled from 12 pm – 2 pm on Wednesday 21st April so we can work on the system.  Current bookings will be automatically transferred and bookings for tennis courts 1 & 2 (indoors) we open from 2 pm on Wednesday 21st April.


Gym bookings reopen on Wednesday 21st April at 2 pm online for us reopening on Monday 26th April at 5.30 am.  Gym sessions remain 1 hour.  Please remember to thoroughly clean each machine after use.


We are thrilled to announce that our pool bookings are now going to be online.  Bookings open Wednesday 21st April at 2 pm online.   If you are booking your family into a swimming session each member of the family will need to be registered for online bookings.  So, in the meantime please create accounts for everyone on your membership to be ready for bookings to open.  Not sure of your membership number?  Then email: and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Further information regarding our online bookings will be sent out to you on Monday 19th April.

Due to our new member’s platform, there is now no requirement for us to share Zoom codes which makes it far easier to take part in your favourite classes.

Started his journey in 2017 as a lifeguard. Over the years Scott progressed in to different disciplines including Les mills; RPM, Pump, Combat & Attack as well as Bootcamp and youth gym.

Mitchell Robb

ABS and Youth Activities

Mitch is 19 years old and recently passed his level 2 in sports coaching at college. Big Congrats to Him!
He is also currently studying for his Level 6 in Sports, Exercise and Science

Join him for Abs classes on a Monday night from 6pm to 6:30pm.
If your kids are budding Badminton players they can join Mitch between 2pm - 3pm in Studio 1.

Aches & Pains Aqua

A fun session sprinkled with movement science. Exercising in a pool provides relief with pain and stiffness in the joints.

It is a great class if you are recovering from surgery or got arthritis.

You will be working at your own ability but quickly will see progression as the weeks progress.

The class takes place each week on Thursdays at 13.50 (1.50pm).

Go on, head to the pool and give it a try!

Latfiya has been covering fitness classes throughout Aberdeen since 2015 and we are delighted that she is taking four classes here at Kippie.

"I am super excited to be joining the Kippie team. My love for fitness has made me expand my training skills to include the latest techniques including Pilates and Power Pilates with which I am certified to work with. My workouts are all about precise and controlled movements while maintaining proper alignment. If you have never attended a strength or kettlebell class please do not feel you cant take part."

"Despite on the skill or difficulty level of any class I teach it will be suitable for every level as there are modifications always available,  just like every instructor I work with the client’s needs, to encourage them and always include.I provide options whether you are a pure beginner or advanced."
