Now that we are in the final countdown to reopening we would like to remind members of our important safety procedures at the Club.  

We recommend you read these safety procedures and register for Virtual Checkin before your visit to the Club if you have not already done so.

Lodge News

The countdown is now on……we will be opening our doors at 9 am on Monday morning for coffees, home bakes, breakfast, lunch and dinner.  Please note, you MUST pre-book your table by calling 01224 739901 and remember to check-in using the Virtual Checkin QR code upon arrival.

Sanitising stations are situated around the Lodge and when walking to and from your table you must wear your face covering.

So, back to the exciting bit – we will be launching our new all-day menu from 12 noon on Monday.  For a sneaky peek hit the button below…

We can’t wait to see you all back and in the next few months, we will be hosting events for all the family so watch this space.

Swimming

It’s exciting to see our swimming sessions booking up for next week.  If you are struggling to link your family members on the booking site give us a call and we can talk you through it. 01224 734747.  Please note, swimming bookings are under ‘classes’.  

Available sessions are as follows:
Adult Swim – no under 16 years
Open Swim –  any age with swim lane available
Family Swim – all ages no lane available

Virtual Check-In

Now that we are getting closer to us reopening indoors can we remind members that it is imperative that on every visit that you scan the QR code located in each area of the club.  If you have not yet registered with our Virtual Checkin then please do so prior to your visit.  Please watch the short video above to remind yourself on how the system works.

Please be aware, if you have recently updated your IPhone (Apple) then you may have to re-register for Virtual Check in.



Be Kind to the Course

  • Keep trolleys and bags away from greens. 

The wheels on trolleys and the weight of golf bags can damage these sensitive areas.

  • Repair your divots. 
  • Repair your ball marks on the green. 
  • Always rake bunkers after hitting to erase your footprints.


Players who are found to breach these rules will be reported to the committee and action may be taken.

Online Bookings


Fitness Classes

We have received positive feedback from members who have taken part in our onsite fitness classes. 
It won’t be long until we can reopen our fitness studios – May 17th (subject to government guidance).  All classes must be prebooked on our bookings page.

Please be aware that children’s fitness classes will be in our studios however adults onsite classes remain outdoors at this time.

Alan’s added a further third Cardio Tennis class from Monday 3rd at 11 am.

Due to our new member’s platform, there is now no requirement for us to share Zoom codes which makes it far easier to take part in your favourite classes.
To view and take part in our live classes simply click the picturelink below and if you have not already done so, create a kippie.life account.

Click on the class you wish to join and it will direct you to Zoom.  You will only need the password which is KLife

A big thank you to all our members for their support over these last few months.  
Without it there would be no Club.

Complex Re-opening

We reopen our doors from 5.30 am for gym sessions and 5.45 am for swimming sessions. 
Upon arrival please check-in using the QR code in reception.  We advise you to register for Virtual Check-In before your visit to save time.  

Badminton will be available on our squash courts from next week.  If you would like to book a court please contact Reception.  As the studios are not being used for adults classes until the 17th May, you can book them for an activity for your family or for training by contacting Reception.

Membership vouchers will be able to be collected from Monday morning from Reception.


Guests

Guests are welcome at the Club at any time to use the gym, golf and tennis however at this time guests will only be permitted Monday – Friday and not at weekends.  To book a guest into the Club please call Reception to book their session.

Started his journey in 2017 as a lifeguard. Over the years Scott progressed in to different disciplines including Les mills; RPM, Pump, Combat & Attack as well as Bootcamp and youth gym.

Mitchell Robb

ABS and Youth Activities

Mitch is 19 years old and recently passed his level 2 in sports coaching at college. Big Congrats to Him!
He is also currently studying for his Level 6 in Sports, Exercise and Science

Join him for Abs classes on a Monday night from 6pm to 6:30pm.
If your kids are budding Badminton players they can join Mitch between 2pm - 3pm in Studio 1.

WENDY GRAY

Aches & Pains Aqua

A fun session sprinkled with movement science. Exercising in a pool provides relief with pain and stiffness in the joints.

It is a great class if you are recovering from surgery or got arthritis.

You will be working at your own ability but quickly will see progression as the weeks progress.

The class takes place each week on Thursdays at 13.50 (1.50pm).

Go on, head to the pool and give it a try!

Latfiya has been covering fitness classes throughout Aberdeen since 2015 and we are delighted that she is taking four classes here at Kippie.

"I am super excited to be joining the Kippie team. My love for fitness has made me expand my training skills to include the latest techniques including Pilates and Power Pilates with which I am certified to work with. My workouts are all about precise and controlled movements while maintaining proper alignment. If you have never attended a strength or kettlebell class please do not feel you cant take part."

"Despite on the skill or difficulty level of any class I teach it will be suitable for every level as there are modifications always available,  just like every instructor I work with the client’s needs, to encourage them and always include.I provide options whether you are a pure beginner or advanced."
