It’s great to see classes resume at Kippie albeit outdoors.  Currently, RPM, Body Pump, Bootcamp and CX Worx are running on-site. 


As an added bonus we are running a Youth Workout class THIS SUNDAY at 12.30 pm on the front lawn.  Teen gym coach Daniel will be putting the kids through their paces and getting them ready to return to the gym in the near future.

Don’t forget (mind you who will be) our gym and pool reopen on Monday 26th April – hurrah!    As before, prebooking for each is essential and please no guests at this time.  COVID restrictions apply. 

Takaway Menu

It’s not long now before we reopen our Lodge to you all (Monday 26th April).  In the meantime, we are offering a lunch takeaway service every day from 12 noon and an evening takeaway menu every Friday and Saturday.  Click the link below to view our menus.  If you would like to order then simply call 01224 739901.

Golf Etiquette

Unfortunately, it has been brought to our attention that there has been a drop in standards of etiquette on our golf course.   

The guidelines for good golf etiquette are there for several very important reasons – your safety and that of others and for the maintenance and upkeep of the course.  

Be Kind to the Course

  • Keep trolleys and bags away from greens. 

The wheels on trolleys and the weight of golf bags can damage these sensitive areas.

  • Repair your divots. 
  • Repair your ball marks on the green. 
  • Always rake bunkers after hitting to erase your footprints.

Players who are found to breach these rules will be reported to the committee and action may be taken.

Please note:
Donald and his team will be working aerating the greens on Monday 12th April.   Aerification is a mechanical process that creates more air space in the soil and promotes deeper rooting, thus helping the grass plants stay healthy.  This may cause disruption and is weather dependant.

12 Week Challenge

You may remember at the start of the year we were encouraging you all to take up one of our 12 week challenges.  Of course, many of the challenges were onsite and these couldn’t be performed however, many of you have stuck to your word and challenged yourself by increasing your steps, cycling or trying your hand at speed golf.
So, if you have completed your 12 week challenge please get in touch with us at with your story and we will issue you with an achievement certificate.  We would love to hear all your good news stories!

Aches & Pains Aqua

A fun session sprinkled with movement science. Exercising in a pool provides relief with pain and stiffness in the joints.

It is a great class if you are recovering from surgery or got arthritis.

You will be working at your own ability but quickly will see progression as the weeks progress.

The class takes place each week on Thursdays at 13.50 (1.50pm).

Go on, head to the pool and give it a try!

Latfiya has been covering fitness classes throughout Aberdeen since 2015 and we are delighted that she is taking four classes here at Kippie.

"I am super excited to be joining the Kippie team. My love for fitness has made me expand my training skills to include the latest techniques including Pilates and Power Pilates with which I am certified to work with. My workouts are all about precise and controlled movements while maintaining proper alignment. If you have never attended a strength or kettlebell class please do not feel you cant take part."

"Despite on the skill or difficulty level of any class I teach it will be suitable for every level as there are modifications always available,  just like every instructor I work with the client’s needs, to encourage them and always include.I provide options whether you are a pure beginner or advanced."
