Thanks for the positive feedback on the new menu at the Lodge. Gregor and his team have sourced new suppliers for some menu items and we are delighted to let you know that from Monday we will passing on the savings to you!

We are getting ever closer to reopening our indoor group activities so now is the perfect opportunity to consider starting a new challenge for 2021. You may remember that at the start of the year we set you all a 12-week challenge where you pick a certain activity that would interest you but also challenge you!

So, get your body summer ready and set yourself one of our challenges!

Covid Procedures

Please can all members and their guests adhere to the COVID procedures we have in place.

You MUST check-in using our VirtualCheckin. Remember to also check out upon departure.

Follow the one way systems throughout the Club.

Sanitising stations are situated around the Lodge and when walking to and from your table you must wear your face covering.

Learn to Swim

We have been inundated with demand for Beginners and are unable to offer more classes at the moment. However, we do have spaces available for more experienced swimmers. If your child is confident in the deep water and can swim a width or be able to swim a length of breaststroke and front and back crawl, please contact Reception and register your interest. Julie Welsh, our swimming coordinator will then get in touch to find out more about your child’s abilities and then tell if we have an appropriate class available.


 During lockdown we offered over 45 classes a week, this increased to over 50 when we were able to start outdoor classes from 5th April.  We are now delighted to release the class schedule for 17th May (subject to Government Guidance).  With over 80 classes available, 65% of them will be back on site at Kippie. Including 29% in Studio 1 and a further 23% taking place in Tennis courts, pool, gym etc. 13% will be in Studio and online and 29% will continue online only e.g. Yoga & Pilates at this stage until the next phase e.g. by 7th June in the hope that social distancing is eased.  We also have 11 children’s and 4 Youth classes a week, contact reception for more details.    We are working hard to source RPM instructors but hope to increase the number of these classes ASAP, by 7th June.

Available sessions are as follows:
Adult Swim – no under 16 years
Open Swim –  any age with swim lane available
Family Swim – all ages no lane available

Kippie are not notified when a member cancels a class or activity, if you have been unable to enrol onto a class/activity, please continue to check the bookings regularly in the event that a member has cancelled and a space becomes available.  We appreciate the highest demand will be for the classes that are only available onsite at Kippie and not also being streamed such as RPM, Aqua Classes and Body Pump. Thank you for your understanding on this matter.  

From 17th May, Gym bookings are changing, we are removing the 15-minute cleaning slot. Bookings will be on every half hour Monday to Friday and on every hour Saturday and Sunday. To allow for changes to be made on the system, we will be disabling online bookings for the current system on Monday 10th May and turning on the new system. Therefore, members wanting to book the gym from 10th-16th May will need to contact Reception. Bookings from 17th May will be online.)

Be Kind to the Course



As you are aware our Creche has remained closed since lockdown.  Unfortunately, at the start of this year Stacey, our Creche manager has left Kippie to go onto pastures new.  So, we are in the process of reviewing our childcare at Kippie.  Moving forward we would like to introduce new sessions including a playgroup, messy play or dance/movement session.  We are reviewing all options.  If you have any suggestions and would like to share them with us please contact Sports & Wellbeing Manager Lorna Cruickshank at

Important Information: Virtual Check-in

Now that members are returning to the Club can we emphasise that it is imperative that your check-in and out using our QR codes located at each facility. If you are struggling with this system and it keeps asking you to confirm by email then your browser may be set to private.  To remember your details this must be turned off – see picture below.

It is also important that you check-out after leaving your activity.  Failing to do so may result in us contacting you unnecessarily if we have a positive covid case at the Club.

Fitness Classes

Please be aware that children’s fitness classes will be in our studios however adults onsite classes remain outdoors at this time.

Due to our new member’s platform, there is now no requirement for us to share Zoom codes which makes it far easier to take part in your favourite classes.

Guests are welcome at the Club at any time to use the gym, golf and tennis however at this time guests will only be permitted Monday – Friday and not at weekends.  To book a guest into the Club please call Reception to book their session.

Now that we are getting closer to us reopening indoors can we remind members that it is imperative that on every visit that you scan the QR code located in each area of the club.  If you have not yet registered with our Virtual Checkin then please do so prior to your visit.  Please watch the short video above to remind yourself on how the system works.

Please be aware, if you have recently updated your IPhone (Apple) then you may have to re-register for Virtual Check in.

Started his journey in 2017 as a lifeguard. Over the years Scott progressed in to different disciplines including Les mills; RPM, Pump, Combat & Attack as well as Bootcamp and youth gym.

Mitchell Robb

ABS and Youth Activities

Mitch is 19 years old and recently passed his level 2 in sports coaching at college. Big Congrats to Him!
He is also currently studying for his Level 6 in Sports, Exercise and Science

Join him for Abs classes on a Monday night from 6pm to 6:30pm.
If your kids are budding Badminton players they can join Mitch between 2pm - 3pm in Studio 1.

Aches & Pains Aqua

A fun session sprinkled with movement science. Exercising in a pool provides relief with pain and stiffness in the joints.

It is a great class if you are recovering from surgery or got arthritis.

You will be working at your own ability but quickly will see progression as the weeks progress.

The class takes place each week on Thursdays at 13.50 (1.50pm).

Go on, head to the pool and give it a try!

Latfiya has been covering fitness classes throughout Aberdeen since 2015 and we are delighted that she is taking four classes here at Kippie.

"I am super excited to be joining the Kippie team. My love for fitness has made me expand my training skills to include the latest techniques including Pilates and Power Pilates with which I am certified to work with. My workouts are all about precise and controlled movements while maintaining proper alignment. If you have never attended a strength or kettlebell class please do not feel you cant take part."

"Despite on the skill or difficulty level of any class I teach it will be suitable for every level as there are modifications always available,  just like every instructor I work with the client’s needs, to encourage them and always include.I provide options whether you are a pure beginner or advanced."
