Happy Hogmanay

When the clock strikes midnight tonight let’s look forward to a brighter and healthier 2022. We have a packed schedule for you all to enjoy from family fun to adults social events. Mix this in with all our facilities and 2022 will be a bumper of a year.

Please remember, we are closing today at 3 pm and will reopen on Sunday at 10 am.

The management and committee would like to take this opportunity to thank all our members and team for their continued support over what has been a difficult year.

Members Open Day

Let’s go!

We are delighted to be running an ‘open day’ for members on Saturday 8th January. A packed fitness schedule including some new classes such as Zumba, Zumba Gold and Prescription for Better Movement. Throughout the day there are classes that you can come and sample – this includes classes for the little ones! The majority of classes will also be available via Zoom. The full schedule is listed below. Bookings open tomorrow via online and the kids classes open on Sunday 2nd January by calling Reception.

Burns Family Night

Bring your family along to the first event of the year on Friday 28th January (subject to government guidelines). We are planning a Scottish family quiz and Scottish music and much more. Call events on 01224 734747 to book your table. Available in the Bar and Conservatory.

Golf Bullseye Game

Come and take part in Keils Bullseye Game on Saturday 8th January from 12noon.

TrackMan’s drive to give golfers the very best experience is at the heart of a new competition that puts players against one another on the range.” The Golf Wire.

Give it a go! No booking is necessary just make your way to the Driving Range from 12 noon on the 8th Jan. You won’t be disappointed! All ages welcome.

Sports Complex

Squash

Under current COVID guidelines, the playing of squash outwith one household is not allowed up until the 17th of January. If restrictions are eased from this date our mini leagues will restart. Junior play is currently permitted.

We are holding Junior Squash taster sessions Saturday 8th January. These classes are great fun and give kids an extra hobby over the winter months. Call to book from Sunday 2nd Jan – 01224 734747.

Physio Pilates

First Carvery of 2022

Our first carvery of 2022 will take place on Sunday 23rd January so mark the date in your diary. We will be holding arts and crafts for the kids in the Balmoral Suite.

Started his journey in 2017 as a lifeguard. Over the years Scott progressed in to different disciplines including Les mills; RPM, Pump, Combat & Attack as well as Bootcamp and youth gym.

Mitchell Robb

ABS and Youth Activities

Mitch is 19 years old and recently passed his level 2 in sports coaching at college. Big Congrats to Him!
He is also currently studying for his Level 6 in Sports, Exercise and Science

Join him for Abs classes on a Monday night from 6pm to 6:30pm.
If your kids are budding Badminton players they can join Mitch between 2pm - 3pm in Studio 1.

WENDY GRAY

Aches & Pains Aqua

A fun session sprinkled with movement science. Exercising in a pool provides relief with pain and stiffness in the joints.

It is a great class if you are recovering from surgery or got arthritis.

You will be working at your own ability but quickly will see progression as the weeks progress.

The class takes place each week on Thursdays at 13.50 (1.50pm).

Latfiya has been covering fitness classes throughout Aberdeen since 2015 and we are delighted that she is taking four classes here at Kippie.

"I am super excited to be joining the Kippie team. My love for fitness has made me expand my training skills to include the latest techniques including Pilates and Power Pilates with which I am certified to work with. My workouts are all about precise and controlled movements while maintaining proper alignment. If you have never attended a strength or kettlebell class please do not feel you cant take part."

"Despite on the skill or difficulty level of any class I teach it will be suitable for every level as there are modifications always available,  just like every instructor I work with the client’s needs, to encourage them and always include.I provide options whether you are a pure beginner or advanced."
